Commissioner of Public Health must develop a plan to establish a hospice and palliative care program for children in Connecticut by January 1, 2025

Plan shall include expansion of existing state programs that provide hospice or palliative care to children

Commissioner must report the plan and anticipated implementation timeframe to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly with cognizance over public health matters

Act takes effect upon passage and creates a new section in state statutes
