• Allows housing authorities to adopt an "expanded area of operation" beyond their home municipality, enabling them to develop housing projects in neighboring municipalities.

• Regional housing authorities composed of two or more municipalities may adopt expanded areas of operation and exercise full authority in all designated municipalities.
