• Establishes a task force to develop recommendations for a state-wide program delivering free bereavement and grief counseling services to children and families, including culturally informed services and expanded access to underserved areas.

• Task force on bereavement services shall consist of 11 members appointed by legislative leaders, state commissioners, and the Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity, with requirements to submit findings by July 1, 2025.

• Creates a second task force to study social isolation and loneliness, examine health risks, identify at-risk populations, and recommend implementation of a state-wide reduction program including social services improvements and community-based programs.

• Social isolation task force comprises 12 members including representatives of caregivers, veterans, Native American tribes, healthcare providers, and LGBTQ networks, with a deadline to report findings by January 1, 2025.

• Both task forces effective immediately upon passage; members must be appointed within 30 days; first meetings must occur within 60 days.
