Establishes a task force to study ways to maximize Medicaid reimbursement for the University of Connecticut Health Center.

Task force membership includes House and Senate committee chairs and ranking members (appropriations, human services, and higher education), UConn president and Health Center CEO, a labor union representative, hospital organization representative, Commissioner of Social Services, and Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management.

Initial task force appointments must be completed within 30 days of the bill's effective date, with the first meeting held no later than 60 days after passage.

Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to relevant General Assembly committees by January 1, 2025, and automatically terminates on that date or when the report is submitted, whichever is later.

Administrative support provided by the joint standing committee staff with cognizance over human services matters.
