Commissioner of Consumer Protection shall conduct a study to evaluate the establishment of licensing and regulatory requirements for individuals who perform title searches of real property in Connecticut.

Commissioner must submit a report of findings to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to general law and insurance.

Report deadline is January 1, 2025.

Study findings shall be submitted in accordance with section 11-4a of the general statutes.
