Commissioner of Developmental Services must submit a report to the General Assembly addressing findings from the Auditors of Public Accounts report covering fiscal years ending June 30, 2021 and June 30, 2022

Government Oversight Committee must hold an informational hearing on the commissioner's report to identify needed internal controls and corrective actions

Hearing must address internal controls for timely mortality reviews, prompt completion and documentation of abuse and neglect investigations, and monitoring of employees on workers' compensation light duty to prevent improper overtime

Hearing must determine a course of action for other shortcomings identified in the audit and assess whether deficiencies were caused by negligent acts or omissions of department leadership, staff, or contractors
