Commissioner of Social Services must evaluate the need to define and recognize "Safety Net HUSKY dental providers" as a distinct category within the HUSKY Health program

Study must identify qualifying criteria for Safety Net HUSKY dental providers and assess the potential impact on dental care access for program enrollees

Financial implications of establishing and reimbursing this new provider category must be assessed

Stakeholder feedback and recommendations must be solicited regarding creation of the distinct provider category

Report with recommendations due to the Human Services committee by January 1, 2026
