Amends Connecticut's general statutes to add permit renewals as a triggering event under the environmental justice statute

Currently, environmental justice requirements apply only to new permit applications for certain facilities; this would extend those requirements to renewal applications as well

Facilities seeking to renew existing permits would be subject to the same environmental justice review procedures as new facilities

Referred to the Environment Committee for consideration during the January 2025 legislative session
