Prohibits GPS systems and navigation apps operating in Connecticut from routing heavy motor vehicle traffic off established commuter routes onto narrow local roads that lack capacity to safely handle such traffic

Requires GPS and navigation application operators to include bridge height restrictions in their systems to prevent truck crashes

Applies to all persons, firms, or corporations that operate navigation systems or mobile applications used for directions in the state

Referred to the Transportation Committee for consideration during the January 2025 legislative session
