Establishes a new radon mitigation assistance program within the Healthy Homes Fund for low-income households, defined as those earning at or below 80% of median income

Department of Housing authorized to fund removal, remediation, abatement, and other appropriate methods to address radon hazards in residential dwellings

Administrative expenses covered include hiring employees and entering contracts necessary to carry out the program

Amends existing Section 8-446 of Connecticut general statutes governing the Healthy Homes Fund

Effective date of July 1, 2025
