Connecticut state residents who reside in a nursing home (as defined in section 19a-490) would qualify for tuition waivers at regional community-technical colleges for any online course

Adds nursing home residents as the 10th category of individuals eligible for mandatory tuition waivers, joining groups including veterans, residents 62 and older, National Guard members, and dependents of those killed in the line of duty

Tuition waivers would be reduced by any educational reimbursement received from an employer

Effective immediately upon passage; received Joint Favorable reports from the Aging, Higher Education, and Finance committees
