Establishes a working group effective July 1, 2025, to address antisemitism in Connecticut public schools by providing assistance and resources to the Department of Education, local and regional boards of education, and other education stakeholders.

The working group's scope includes amending school district safety policies, offering antisemitism training for educators and administrators, and assisting in creating curriculum materials on antisemitism, Jewish heritage, and Holocaust and genocide education.

The working group consists of 6 appointed members — including representatives from the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, an anti-defamation league, Voices of Hope, a university professor, a public school social studies teacher, and a curriculum specialist from a Jewish nonprofit — plus the chairpersons and ranking members of the legislature's education committee or their designees.

All initial appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with the first meeting held within 60 days; the chairperson is selected jointly by the Speaker of the House and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.

The working group must submit a report on its activities and legislative recommendations to the General Assembly's education committee by February 1, 2026, with authority to submit additional reports as needed.
