Expands eligibility for the Local Food for Schools Incentive Program from only school boards to include child care providers, effective July 1, 2025

Provides reimbursement of 50% for locally sourced food purchases (Connecticut) and 33% for regionally sourced food purchases (NY, MA, RI, VT, NH, ME)

Transfers program administration from the Department of Agriculture to the Department of Education, which must hire one full-time employee to manage the program

Requires at least 20% of annual program appropriations to be used for supplemental services including farm-to-school consultants, technical assistance, outreach, and training

Expands eligible meal programs to include the Child and Adult Care Food Program and its At-Risk Afterschool Meals component, and directs the department to maximize federal funding sources
