Establishes a working group to develop uniform statutory definitions for "first responder" and "essential worker" in Connecticut law

Working group membership includes at least 5 persons appointed by the Public Safety and Security Committee, plus designees from the Commissioners of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Labor, and Public Health, and the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of the act's passage, with the first meeting held within 60 days

Report with findings and recommendations due to the joint standing committee on public safety and security by January 1, 2026

Working group terminates upon submitting its report or January 1, 2026, whichever is later
