Prohibits Connecticut municipalities from requiring a minimum number of off-street motor vehicle parking spaces for any development, effective October 1, 2025

Removes the previous parking requirement cap of one space per studio/one-bedroom unit and two spaces per unit with two or more bedrooms

Eliminates parking requirements for accessory apartments (ADUs), which previously could require up to one parking space per unit

Repeals sections 8-2c (fees in lieu of parking) and 8-2p (municipal opt-out provisions for parking requirements) from state statutes

Removes "reducing the amount of required parking" as a listed traffic mitigation strategy in zoning regulations, since parking minimums would no longer exist
