Police officers may review their own body-worn camera or dashboard camera recordings to prepare reports, perform duties, or when subject to a disciplinary investigation involving such recordings

Officers giving formal statements about use of force incidents captured on recording have the right to review the footage with their attorney or labor representative present

Recordings must be publicly disclosed within 48 hours after an officer's review, or within 96 hours of a public disclosure request if the officer does not review

Public disclosure may be delayed if an officer experiences medical, physical, or acute psychological stress responses preventing review, but cannot exceed 144 hours after the recorded event
