Adds "Islamic and Arab studies" as a new category (item 13) to the list of curriculum topics the State Board of Education must assist and encourage local school districts to include in instructional programs

Amends Section 10-16b(d) of Connecticut General Statutes, which governs curriculum materials the State Board of Education makes available to local and regional boards of education

Joins 12 existing encouraged curriculum areas including Holocaust and genocide education, African-American and black studies, Puerto Rican and Latino studies, Native American studies, Asian American and Pacific Islander studies, and labor history

Effective date of July 1, 2025
