Excludes income from approved pilot direct cash transfer programs from Temporary Family Assistance (TFA) eligibility calculations for up to 24 months, with possible extension to 60 months upon commissioner reauthorization

Excludes job training program stipends from TFA income eligibility determinations for up to 36 cumulative months, covering programs through the Office of Workforce Strategy, Bureau of Rehabilitation Services, and qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits

Requires the Department of Social Services to approve pilot cash assistance programs based on ability to obtain federal and state waivers, and to maintain a public list of approved programs

Mandates approved pilot programs provide written notice to participants about potential impacts on their eligibility for federal and state benefits before enrollment

Effective July 1, 2025
