Fair rent commission hearings must be conducted as contested cases under Chapter 54 administrative procedures, effective October 1, 2025

Commission records must include written notices, petitions, pleadings, motions, evidence, objections and rulings, transcripts or recordings, proposed decisions, and final decisions

Any party may request transcription of hearing recordings or stenographic records, with the requesting party paying for the transcript

Persons aggrieved by commission orders retain the right to appeal under section 7-148e of general statutes

"Rental charge" definition expanded to include any fee or charge beyond rent imposed by a landlord on a tenant
