Establishes a task force to study the operations of the Social Equity Council (created under section 21a-420d of Connecticut general statutes)

Task force consists of 12 members: 6 appointed by legislative leaders (House and Senate), 2 by the Governor, plus the Comptroller and Social Equity Council chairperson (or their designees)

Legislative appointees may be members of the General Assembly; Speaker of the House and Senate President Pro Tempore select the task force chairpersons

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of passage; first meeting must occur within 60 days of the effective date

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the consumer protection committee by January 1, 2026, at which point the task force terminates
