Minors (under 18) may consent to pregnancy-related services and pregnancy prevention services without parental consent or notification

Covered services include contraceptive counseling, prenatal care, and pain management during labor and delivery (including epidurals), but explicitly exclude sterilization

Health care providers are prohibited from disclosing any information about these services to parents or guardians—including sending bills—without the minor's express consent

Parents or guardians who were not informed of services provided to their minor child are not liable for the costs of those services

Mandatory reporting obligations to the Department of Public Health or Department of Children and Families remain unaffected by these provisions
