Appropriates $1 million per year to the Department of Correction for fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, and June 30, 2027, to establish a student loan repayment program

Full-time health care professionals working in the Department of Correction are eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment

Repayment is distributed incrementally based on years of employment: $5,000 after year 2, $7,500 after year 3, $7,500 after year 4, $15,000 after year 5, and $15,000 after year 6

Program aims to recruit and retain health care providers within the state correctional system
