Establishes a task force to study the role of the standing legislative regulation review committee in the agency regulation adoption process under chapter 54 of the general statutes and recommend improvements

Task force consists of 9 members including two administrative law professors (one from UConn), legislative appointees from both parties, the Attorney General or designee, the Secretary of State's regulation coordinator or designee, and the Legislative Commissioners' Office director or designee

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of passage, with the first meeting held within 60 days; chairpersons selected by the House Speaker and Senate president pro tempore

Report on findings and recommendations due to the Government Administration committee by January 1, 2026

Task force terminates upon submitting its report or January 1, 2026, whichever is later; effective from passage
