Covered areas include golf courses, turf grass, lawns, playing fields, outdoor ornamental plants, and state or municipal property

Also prohibits neonicotinoid treatment of corn, wheat, and soybeans

Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection may grant exceptions for environmental emergencies

Intended to protect pollinators, birds, ecosystems, and public health
