Curriculum must cover family living and community relationships, the benefits and responsibilities of marriage for men, women, children and communities, and the value of family relationships

Curriculum designed to promote parental involvement, foster positive self-concepts, and provide coping mechanisms for students

Establishes requirements for training educators to teach the family life education curriculum

Mandates review and update of the curriculum every five years to reflect contemporary community standards
