Licensed motor vehicle dealers must include federal tax, delivery costs, dealer preparation, and any dealer conveyance or processing fees in advertised prices, with only state/local taxes and registration fees excluded

Advertisements must state in at least eight-point bold type that state/local taxes and registration fees are excluded, and must separately display the dealer conveyance fee amount next to the phrase "Dealer Conveyance Fee"

Dealers must inform prospective buyers that dealer conveyance or processing fees are negotiable and include these fees in any quoted selling price

Order and invoice forms cannot be pre-printed with amounts for vehicle identification etching services or other optional service fees before discussions with buyers

Violations carry fines up to $1,000, and the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may suspend or revoke dealer licenses; effective October 1, 2025
