Establishes a 7-member working group to study Connecticut's workers' compensation program, focusing on streamlining operations, updating the electronic filing system, reducing prior authorization delays, and reducing fraudulent claims

Working group includes 6 legislative appointees (one each from House speaker, Senate president pro tempore, and majority/minority leaders of both chambers) plus the Workers' Compensation Commission chairperson or designee

All appointments must be made within 30 days of passage, with the first meeting held within 60 days; legislative appointees may be General Assembly members

Administrative support provided by staff of the joint standing committee on labor and public employees

Report with findings and recommendations due to the labor committee by January 1, 2026, at which point the working group terminates
