Amends Connecticut's definition of "hours worked" to explicitly include time employees spend in employer-required security screenings, effective October 1, 2025

Clarifies that compensable work time includes all time employees are required to wait on premises while no work is provided by the employer

Requires payment for all on-call time when employees must remain at an employer-designated location for emergency service, regardless of whether they are actually called to work

Specifies that for employees on-call but not at a designated location, working time begins when notified of assignment and ends upon completion

Maintains existing exception allowing third-party companionship service providers and employees to agree in writing to exclude up to 8 hours of scheduled sleeping time during 24+ hour shifts, subject to specific conditions
