Amends chapter 379a of the general statutes to create a new pathway for foreign-trained dentists to become licensed as dental hygienists in Connecticut

Requires applicants to have at least five years of lawful dental practice in a foreign country or province

Applicants must submit a certificate of licensure or registration and documentation of practice duration from the foreign country's dental board or equivalent licensing entity

Commissioner of Public Health authorized to establish additional competency requirements for these applicants
