Expands eligibility for existing state loan forgiveness programs to include physicians, physician assistants, and advanced practice registered nurses employed by for-profit health care employers

Current loan forgiveness programs would be amended to remove the restriction limiting eligibility to those working for non-profit or government employers

Targets three categories of health care providers: physicians (MDs/DOs), physician assistants (PAs), and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)

Intended to improve retention of skilled health care providers in Connecticut's workforce by broadening access to loan forgiveness incentives
