Excludes Connecticut's statutorily recognized Indian tribes (under section 47-59a) from the definitions of "state contractor," "prospective state contractor," and "subcontractor" for campaign finance purposes, effective October 1, 2025

Allows tribal entities and associations created exclusively among tribes to further purposes authorized by tribal law to be exempt from contractor campaign contribution restrictions

Removes Indian tribes from prohibitions that prevent state contractors from making campaign contributions to candidates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Comptroller, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and General Assembly members

Places recognized Indian tribes in the same exempt category as municipalities and other political subdivisions of the state under campaign finance law
