Title II Social Security income above the eligibility standard will be excluded from income calculations for individuals identified as disabled adult children under the Social Security Act when determining Medicaid eligibility

Amends section 17b-261 of Connecticut general statutes governing medical assistance eligibility, effective July 1, 2025

Maintains existing income eligibility at 159% of the temporary family assistance benefit amount for otherwise eligible persons, pending federal waiver approval

Continues existing exclusion of Aid and Attendance pension benefits from income calculations for veterans and their surviving spouses

Received Joint Favorable reports from both the Human Services Committee and Appropriations Committee
