Auditors of Public Accounts must conduct at least two performance audits annually of Medicaid-funded programs, beginning January 1, 2026

Senate and House chairpersons and ranking members of the Human Services committee must submit a written list of at least two Medicaid programs for audit by December 1, 2025, and annually thereafter

Program administrators must provide any information the auditors deem necessary to conduct the audits

Commissioner of Social Services must post audit results and recommendations on the Department of Social Services website within 30 days of audit completion

Auditors must report findings and recommendations to the Governor, State Comptroller, and joint standing committees on appropriations and human services
