Adds state marshals to the list of groups eligible for state group hospitalization and medical/surgical insurance plans, effective October 1, 2025

State marshals working fewer than 20 hours per week may participate voluntarily but must pay full coverage cost

State marshals working at least 20 hours per week who serve fee-waived process, protection orders, or capias mittimus orders may participate at the same rates and terms as active state employees under the SEBAC agreement

Qualifying marshals must certify their hours and work activities quarterly to the State Marshal Commission by the 15th of April, July, October, and January

Marshals are ineligible for subsidized coverage if their spouse has access to an equivalent employer health plan or if they have access to coverage through the municipal employees' retirement system
