Public adjusters are prohibited from charging or collecting fees when an insurer offers in writing to pay full policy limits within 30 days of a loss to a structure covered by fire insurance.

Public adjuster fees must be based only on settlement proceeds actually paid by the insurer, rather than amounts received by the insured.

Fee collection timing changed to occur after the insurer has paid settlement proceeds, rather than after the insured receives the funds.
