Establishes a task force to study cybersecurity and develop a strategic plan for oversight and coordination among state agencies, boards, commissions, and higher education institutions

Task force will address critical IT infrastructure needs, state-municipal cybersecurity coordination, federal agency interaction (including DHS), interstate coordination, and private sector collaboration on corporate espionage, trade secrets, and data privacy

Composed of 14 members appointed by legislative leaders, the Governor, and three state commissioners (Emergency Services and Public Protection, Administrative Services, and Economic and Community Development)

All appointments must be made by September 1, 2025, with the first meeting held by November 1, 2025

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on public safety and security by January 1, 2027, at which point it terminates
