Requires passengers using stretcher van transport to obtain a written statement from their primary care provider certifying they may be transported via stretcher van

Mandates stretcher van operators receive training in lifting, moving, and transporting persons on stretchers equivalent to emergency medical services personnel training, with documentation submitted to the Department of Transportation

Requires an attendant (in addition to the driver) to accompany passengers during stretcher van transport, with the attendant also completing equivalent EMS training

Requires stretcher vans to have securing devices for individuals on stretchers during loading, unloading, and transport, with violations classified as infractions
