Board members of quasi-public agencies whose nominations are confirmed by both houses of the General Assembly may elect to participate in the state employee group health insurance plan if not otherwise eligible

Participating board members must pay the same percentage of the premium as state employees pay for equivalent coverage

The quasi-public agency must reimburse the state for the remainder of the premium and any other costs incurred from the board member's participation

Effective July 1, 2025
