State Elections Enforcement Commission must complete any audit of a candidate's previous election committee at least two months before an upcoming election, and cannot initiate new audits during that two-month window without a complaint

Post-election audits of candidate committees limited to no more than 50% of committees, selected through a weighted public lottery based on how frequently each legislative district was audited in the previous three elections

All candidate committees for statewide office must be audited (exempt from the 50% lottery cap)

Committees selected for audit must receive written notification by May 31st of the year following the election; committees not notified by this deadline cannot be audited

Commission must complete audits and issue findings within 12 months of receiving all necessary information, and must submit annual reports to the General Assembly starting January 1, 2026, explaining any audits that exceeded this timeframe
