Establishes the "Fallen Officer and Investigator Fund" to provide a $100,000 lump sum death benefit to surviving families of correction officers and investigators from the Court Support Services Division, Division of Criminal Justice, or Office of the Chief Public Defender who are killed in the line of duty, effective July 1, 2025

Surviving family members eligible for benefits include surviving spouses, dependent children under age 22, children of any age who are physically or mentally incapacitated, surviving parents, and individuals listed as beneficiaries with the employing agency

Death benefit payments are exempt from Connecticut state income tax and do not reduce or offset any other benefits such as workers' compensation or other survivor benefits

Surviving spouses and dependent children of covered officers killed in the line of duty on or after July 1, 2025 become eligible for the state group hospitalization and medical and surgical insurance plan if not otherwise eligible for coverage

Comptroller must submit annual reports to the Judiciary Committee beginning July 1, 2026, detailing fund expenditures, current balance, and additional funding needs
