Establishes a task force to study issues relating to consumer protection and occupational licensing in Connecticut

Task force consists of 11 members: 8 legislative appointments (including 2 each by the Speaker and President Pro Tempore), the Commissioner of Consumer Protection or designee, and 2 gubernatorial appointees

Legislative appointees may be members of the General Assembly; initial appointments must be made within 30 days of passage

Speaker of the House and President Pro Tempore select co-chairs; first meeting must occur within 60 days of the act's effective date

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the consumer protection committee by January 1, 2026, at which point it terminates
