Establishes an interagency task force to streamline municipal Medicaid billing procedures for school-based health services eligible for Medicaid reimbursement

Task force membership includes the Commissioners of Education and Social Services, the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, and a representative of an organization representing municipalities (or their designees)

Commissioners of Education and Social Services (or designees) serve as co-chairpersons and must convene the first meeting within 60 days of the act's passage, with monthly meetings thereafter

Task force must develop a strategic plan to streamline municipal Medicaid billing for school-based health services by September 1, 2026

Final report on the strategic plan must be filed with the joint standing committees on education and human services by October 1, 2026
