Establishes a working group to study Connecticut's civil laws, including provisions in titles 51 and 52 of the general statutes, to recommend needed changes

Working group consists of 6 members appointed by legislative leaders: one each from the speaker of the House, president pro tempore of the Senate, majority leaders of both chambers, and minority leaders of both chambers

Members must have familiarity with and expertise in interpreting the state's civil laws

Report on findings and recommendations due to the Judiciary Committee by January 1, 2026

Working group terminates upon submitting its report or January 1, 2026, whichever is later; effective immediately upon passage
