Proposes amending the Connecticut Constitution to increase General Assembly members' terms from two years to four years

Changes legislative elections from biennial (every two years in even-numbered years) to quadrennial (every four years), beginning in November 2030

Extends members' terms to run from the Wednesday following the first Monday in January after their election until the Wednesday after the first Monday of the fifth January thereafter

Requires the proposed amendment to either continue to the next General Assembly session elected November 3, 2026, or be presented directly to voters at that election

Ballot question would read: "Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to increase the term of office for members of the General Assembly from two years to four years?"
