Licensed assisted living services agencies operating in managed residential communities must provide annual in-service training to all employees on residents' fear of retaliation from employees or others

Required training topics include residents' rights to file complaints and voice grievances, examples of conduct that may constitute or be perceived as employee retaliation, and methods to prevent retaliation and alleviate residents' fears

Trainers must be familiar with the needs of the resident population served but are not required to be qualified social workers or social worker consultants
