Safety plans must be stored in confidential files separate from academic or health records, though information may be used for IEP or Section 504 plan interventions

The Department of Education must provide professional development training materials for designated employees, with annual training required for new staff starting in the 2027-2028 school year

The State-wide Health Information Exchange must provide secure messaging accounts to school districts at no cost, within available appropriations
