Establishes a task force to study grocery store beer permits, including the feasibility of per capita caps on permits within municipalities and eligibility criteria for obtaining permits

Task force consists of 14 members: 10 legislative appointees from House and Senate leadership, 2 gubernatorial appointees, and the Commissioner of Consumer Protection or designee

Initial appointments must be made within 30 days of passage, with the first meeting held within 60 days

Administrative support provided by staff of the joint standing committee on consumer protection

Task force must submit findings and recommendations by January 1, 2027, at which point it terminates
