State agencies must submit follow-up reports to the Government Oversight committee within one year of receiving consultant studies or reports that cost $100,000 or more and contain recommendations for agency action

Follow-up reports must summarize the consultant's findings, indicate whether recommendations have been implemented, and state whether the agency intends to implement recommendations in the future with applicable target dates

Applies to consultant services including administrative, planning, analysis, statistical, or research services provided by architects, professional engineers, accountants, planners, and environmental, management, or financial specialists

Covers all executive branch state agencies including offices, departments, boards, councils, commissions, higher education institutions, and technical/career schools

Takes effect upon passage
