Chief Court Administrator must develop a plan by January 1, 2027 for uniform state-wide case identification codes for domestic violence cases across the Judicial Branch, Division of Criminal Justice, and Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection electronic systems

Plan development requires consultation with multiple stakeholders including the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Criminal Justice Information System Governing Board executive director, Chief State's Attorney, domestic violence docket judges, and the Domestic Violence Criminal Justice Response and Enhancement Advisory Council

Identification codes must apply consistent identifiers across agency data systems, improve state-wide reporting and policy evaluation, and comply with federal and state confidentiality requirements

"Domestic violence case" includes any criminal or civil matter involving family violence between family or household members, regardless of criminal charges filed

Report on the developed plan must be submitted to the General Assembly's judiciary and public safety committees by February 1, 2027
