Establishes a working group convened by the Banking Committee chairpersons to study consumer fraud and protections against such fraud in Connecticut

Working group membership includes Banking Committee chairs and ranking members, the Banking Commissioner, and representatives from financial institutions, credit unions, consumer organizations, and senior citizen organizations

Three additional members each from financial institution and credit union associations will be appointed by their respective organizations

First meeting must be held within 60 days of the act's passage, with the working group selecting two cochairpersons from among its members

Report on findings and recommendations due to the Banking Committee by January 1, 2027, at which point the working group terminates
